Job summary

The Entertainer is seeking a dedicated 20 hour Supervisor at Midsomer Norton. You’ll support the Store Manager, lead a small team, and cover days off, holidays and weekend rotas. You’ll drive great customer service, handle till processes, stock, and promotions with energy and a can-do approach.

This role offers training, progression and the chance to grow within The Entertainer as you help deliver outstanding store standards in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store, including Sundays on a rota basis and running the store in the absence of the Store management.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations including cash and till reconciliations.
• Lead by example with exceptional customer service and inspire your team.
• Implement in-store promotions, be commercial and ensure staff are motivated and well informed.
• Assist with stock management including stockroom standards, deliveries, merchandising and reducing stock loss.

Why Us?

When you join us as a Supervisor at The Entertainer, Midsomer Norton High Street you will be a key member of the store’s management team and a role model for our Sales Assistants. You will be there to support your Store Manager in the day to day running of your store, ensuring the team are focussed and performing to their full potential, andshow your manager what you’re all about when running the store independently to cover days off and holidays.

You will have the opportunity to make a real difference with your colleagues too, playing an important role in coaching and motivating the team to help them achieve the best they can be in both their personal development and helping the store deliver exceptional store standards and customer service.

You will be energetic, outgoing, keen and possess a natural flair for retailing. Ideally you will live within 30-45 minutes of your store and be flexible to work the shift patterns that the store operation requires, especially during October to December. Weekend key-holder cover is also a basic requirement of this role.

As a 20 hour Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
