Our Customer Host Supervisors support the team in ensuring we are the best on the high street for delivering an amazing customer experience. In this role, you will work alongside the Shop Manager to deliver excellent shop standards and support team development and training.
What You'll Be Doing
You will report to the Shop Manager and be part of our Retail team.
Customer Experience
- Lead by example and coach the team to ensure excellent customer service aligned with our A.C.E pillars (Be Friendly, Be Inspiring, Be Invaluable).
- Promote and gather customer information in compliance with data protection laws, and drive email sign-ups and conversions.
- Introduce and champion multichannel shopping options like endless aisle orders.
Product Presentation and Visual Standards
- Maintain high visual standards in store.
- Support floor moves, displays, and replenishment.
- Understand product features and promote these to customers.
Commercial Management
- Make proactive commercial decisions regarding stock and promotions.
- Coordinate promotions and key trading weeks.
- Understand and communicate shop KPIs to the team, striving for continuous improvement.
Team Management
- Organize shop operations and support staff management processes.
- Engage with resources like the White Stuff website and brand guidelines to ensure compliance and engagement.
- Create a positive shop atmosphere focused on sales and customer experience.
- Motivate and recognize team members, champion brand values, delegate tasks, and identify training opportunities.
- Assist with wellbeing initiatives and communicate team updates.
Operational Support
- Efficiently process deliveries and replenish stock.
- Support stock takes, audits, and ensure compliance with operational policies.
- Manage health & safety procedures and support store visits from stakeholders.
- Oversee ship-from-store and Click + Collect processes, and assist with stock reconciliation.
Doing Good Stuff
- Support charity initiatives and promote ethical sourcing and environmental awareness to customers and staff.
