Job summary

A leading food service company in the North East of England is seeking a Supervisor to maintain operations and supervise a team. You will oversee deliveries, assist with bookwork, and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude under pressure. The role is full-time, with 35 hours per week contracted.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
  • Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
  • Supervising a team, creating a positive environment.
  • Being a responsible key holder.
  • Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
  • Producing weekly rotas following management's guidelines.
  • Placing orders for stock to maintain correct levels.
  • Delegating where necessary.
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

  • Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
