There’s a permanent opportunity for a Supervisor to our iconic Houses of Parliament contracts in Westminster, London

An engineer and subcontractor focused role to lead on the delivery of PPM and ensure delivery of all services in line with the contract KPIs across the client’s diverse estate, and to support the wider team in managing general maintenance services as required by the client.

The Role

  • An engineer and subcontractor focused role to lead on the delivery of PPM and ensure delivery of all services in line with the contract KPIs across the client’s diverse estate, and to support the wider team in managing general maintenance services as required by the client.
  • To oversee and ensure Dalkia / Client procedures are followed ensuring the management of Health and Safety requirements and contract KPIs including but not exhaustive:
  • Clocking In and Out Daily.
  • Timesheet Completion and Approval.
  • To Oversee Engineer Holiday Planning and Approval.
  • Supervisor Inspections (Weekly).
  • TBT (Toolbox Talks) to be Hosted Weekly on an agreed Supervisor Rota.
  • Ensuring Engineers close PPM work orders on time with Closure Notes Included.
  • Ensure all work orders (where required) have Relevant Compliance Paperwork / Test Results / uploaded to the CAFM system.
  • Complete all E Learning courses as required by Dalkia compliance system.
  • Ensuring Defects / Remedial Works are logged on to the CAFM system and followed up.
  • Ensure Materials are ordered through the correct channels as required to complete work orders.
  • Ensure relevant Defect / Remedial orders are correctly submitted to the CAFM system.
  • Reporting any CAFM issues to Contract Manager / Contract Admin Team for Action.
  • Regular work order assignment reviews with admin team and Engineers to ensure no errors on system.
  • Attend monthly subcontractor review meetings and provide data for reviews
  • Escalate any issues with Contractor / Engineer responses or delivery to the Contract Manager in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Engineers complete PPM work orders in line with contract KPIs and SFG 20 requirements.
  • Manage aged WIP and Debt and attend commercial update meetings as required.
  • Any other duties as required / requested by the Contract Manager.
  • Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and you may be required to assist the Business with other duties as appropriate.

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday, 7.30am-4.30pm
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, plus option to purchase an additional 5 days leave every year

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant PPM and Reactive Experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience of using a CAFM system
  • Results/ task orientated, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to providing an excellent service to clients.
  • Drive for personal development and Professional progression.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, solve problems and work as part of a team and to have a flexible approach.
