Job summary

GO Outdoors LTD is seeking a proactive Supervisor to help deliver high service standards on the shop floor, lead by example, and support daily operations.

You will guide colleagues across shifts, maintain presentation and store performance, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced outdoor retail environment in Keswick.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide colleagues on the shop floor.
• High attention to detail in service, presentation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets expected standards.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels and assisting with product placement.
• Maintain shop floor visual and operational standards; keep area clean and aligned with brand.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, till operations, and daily operational duties.

Role Overview As a Supervisor, you play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the shop floor and delivering the high service standards our customers expect. You lead by example, guide colleagues during each shift, and help maintain strong levels of customer service, presentation, and store performance. You'll also support daily operational tasks as directed by Store Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets expected standards.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with brand expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
• Passion for retail, strong product and trend awareness, and the ability to demonstrate company values.
