Home based, 1 day in the office | IFA | Part-time | Capped caseload

Are you an experienced social worker who wants to get into fostering, but opportunities are limited in your current role?

Leaders in Care are working with an outstanding rated Independent Fostering Agency in Telford, for an experienced practitioner to join their stable service on a permanent part-time basis as a supervising social worker.

As a supervising social worker, you will also be responsible for supporting and managing approved foster carers, providing professional advice when necessary, and contributing to business planning. Additionally, you will supervise Support Workers and Social Work Students.

You will work closely with the Unity social work staff and foster carers to ensure that quality standards are met in all assessments.

Benefits include a generous salary of up to £39,727 (pro-rata), you can expect with regular learning and development opportunities, to ensure you are developing as a practitioner whilst providing the best care for all involved in the service. You will also get a generous holiday allowance of 27 days.

This role also offers a flexible working schedule, with only 1 day a week in the office and the rest from home, allowing you to maintain a great work life balance.

In this IFA there is a real focus on professional development, with 2 of the senior management team being homegrown, so progression is very much encouraged.

For this role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
