An established Independent Fostering Agency based in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £42,000, a manageable caseload, and professional development opportunities. You will support and manage foster carers while ensuring quality standards are met. The position features a flexible working schedule with only one office day required per week, allowing for a great work-life balance.
Leaders in Care are working in partnership with an highly rated Independent Fostering Agency in Cardiff, for an experienced practitioner to join their stable service as a Supervising Social Worker.
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will also be responsible for supporting and managing approved foster carers, providing professional advice when necessary, and contributing to business planning. Additionally, you supervise Support Workers and Social Work Students.
You will work closely with the social work staff and foster carers to ensure that quality standards are met in all assessments.

This role also offers a flexible working schedule, with only 1 office day required per week, and the rest of the week is flexible for you to manage your own diary, completing visits and working from home, allowing you to maintain a great work life balance.
In this IFA there is a real focus on professional development, with a number of the senior management team having been homegrown through the service. You will also be enrolled onto an L&D course which will allow you further career progression after 12 months should you wish.
