Supervising Social Worker - Fostering - South London - Uxbridge

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Supervising Social Worker within the Fostering Team to work part-time based in Uxbridge.

The salary for this role is up to £36,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide a supportive and efficient service to children, young people, their families, and fostering families, ensuring needs are professionally assessed.
  2. Investigate, evaluate, and analyze case information, demonstrating clarity in assessments and reliability of conclusions.
  3. Develop holistic practice considering the individual's social context and overall development needs.
  4. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, fostering regulations, and organizational policies.
  5. Complete investigations, assessments, and casework to high professional standards within set timescales.
  6. Maintain case records using ICT as directed.
  7. Collaborate with other agencies to support care plans and foster carers.
  8. Recruit, assess, train, and develop foster carers to meet the diverse needs of children.
  9. Participate in referral, assessment, and placement processes in accordance with regulations and standards.
  10. Attend panels, conferences, reviews, and court proceedings, presenting cases professionally.
  11. Promote equal opportunities and diversity in all aspects of work.
Requirements:
  • A recognized social work qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
