Job Description:

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be supervising and providing support to approved Foster Carers. You will be developing effective relationships to ensure that Foster Carers feel that they are given adequate guidance that suits their personal needs, and to ensure that they feel well supported at all times.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Woking in partnership with individuals from the Fostering and Children’s Services.
  • Giving support to foster carers, as well as supervision.
  • Ensure that outcome trackers are completed following the appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Attending and contributing in regular reviews, as well as regular team meetings.
  • Ensuring that files are kept up to date.
  • Working well as part of a committed team.

Requirements:

  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Excellent understanding on relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Minimum of 6 months Social Work experience in the fostering sector.
