Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is recruiting for a Supervising Social Worker to join a well-regarded Fostering service covering Yorkshire. The role is part-time (18.5 hours), fixed-term until October 2027, and hybrid working.

You must hold a Diploma or Degree in Social Work and have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship). The team is committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and their families, with a therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Social Work required.
Experience in Children's Social Work post-qualification.
Knowledge of current safeguarding legislation.

Responsibilities

Support fostering services to safeguard and promote welfare of children.
Collaborate with families, carers and other professionals.
Contribute to ensuring compliance with relevant social work legislation.
