Supervising Social Worker (23269) Shropshire, England

Salary: GBP 33.30 per hour

Job Title: Supervising Social Worker

Hourly Rate: £33.30

Work Pattern: Hybrid working approach, with the ability to work more from home and occasional office presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be a member and team player within an established Support and Development Service.
2. Have good knowledge and experience working according to Fostering Regulations and NMS standards.
3. Ensure all compliance for foster parents is up-to-date, recorded on LCS.
4. Communicate with and support foster parents using trauma-informed understanding and therapeutic principles.
5. Supervise foster carers, ensuring all key areas are discussed, recorded, and challenged where necessary.
6. Manage a caseload of foster parents and complete all related tasks as a Supervising Social Worker.
7. Efficiently record fostering annual reviews and present them to panel when required.
8. Attend team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to support the team.
9. Participate in a duty rota, supporting foster carers, and completing viability assessments twice per month.

Skills & Experience:

• A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Committed to supporting children, young people, and their families, with resilience to go the extra mile to help them achieve their potential.
• UK driving license.
