Supervising Social Worker - Salary Up to £42,000

Leaders in Care are working in partnership with an highly ratedIndependent Fostering Agency in Cardiff, for an experienced practitioner to join their stable service as a Supervising Social Worker.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will also be responsible for supporting and managing approved foster carers, providing professional advice when necessary, and contributing to business planning. Additionally, you will supervise Support Workers and Social Work Students.

You will work closely with thesocial work staff and foster carers to ensure that quality standards are met in all assessments.

Benefits include a generous salary of up to £40,000, you can expect with regular learning and development opportunities to offer you that career progression, to ensure you are developing as a practitioner whilst providing the best care for all involved in the service. You will also get a generous holiday allowance of 27 days.

This role also offers a flexible working schedule, with only 1 office day required per week, and the rest of the week is flexible for you to manage your own diary, comopleting visits and working from home, allowing you to maintain a great work life balance.

In this IFA there is a real focus on professional development, with a number of the senior management team having been homegrown through the service. You will also be enrolled onto a L&D course which will allow you further career progression after 12 months should you wish.

For this role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Care Wales.
