Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is recruiting a Supervising Social Worker for an Independent Fostering Agency covering Lancashire. This maternity cover until November 2027 is a part-time/28 hours per week role (4 days) with hybrid working.

You will hold a social work degree and have post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Work. Salary up to £40,494 per annum pro rata plus benefits; mileage paid and additional payments.

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work.
• Post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Work.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, assessing, matching & training prospective foster carers.
• Supervising a small caseload of foster families.
• Working collaboratively within a multi-agency team.
• Upkeeping all relevant compliance & reports.
• Attending fostering panel meetings.
