About the role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help create a positive experience for our customers by providing excellent Partner-led service and sharing your passion for food. Your dedication to going the extra mile will enhance the reputation of the Waitrose brand and foster customer loyalty.

This is a permanent role. Applicants must be 18 or over due to working time regulations.

The pay rate is £13.60 per hour, increasing to £13.85 after 90 days.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will include various shopkeeping tasks such as:

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and products correctly placed
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery
• Reducing wastage through product due diligence and markdowns
• Supporting the wider shop team, including checkout support and managing Click & Collect orders
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Essential Skills/Experience
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction
