Build a positive, collaborative team culture where colleagues feel motivated, confident and supported to succeed. Manage daily workloads and delegate responsibilities fairly, ensuring the effective running of the department. Lead by example, supporting colleagues through challenging situations and promoting a culture of professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement. Manage clinical staff rotas and proactively address sickness absence, performance, appraisals and conduct in line with InHealth policies. Play an active role in recruitment, selection, appointment and the successful induction of new team members.

Undertake regular competency assessments, identifying development opportunities and working with the Clinical Lead to ensure appropriate support is provided. Encourage continuous learning, professional growth and the development of clinical confidence across the team. Implement staff survey action plans, helping to create an environment where everyone has a voice and feels valued.

Driving service excellence

Take an active role in service development, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and patient experience. Contribute to policy development, clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives. Monitor compliance with operational procedures, clinical governance requirements and company policies. Build strong relationships with the Kings Cross PET-CT and RLT team, Senior Management and external stakeholders.
