The RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Mechanic based in the Harlow area. You’ll respond to roadside incidents, diagnose faults, and get members back on the road with flexible shifts and a strong support package.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team, working 40 hours per week with a base salary of £50,669 and potential to earn up to £57,000. Training, tools, and a company van are provided to support your success.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to roadside calls and diagnose faults.
• Repair or replace components to get members back on the road.
• Maintain van, kit and complete accurate reports.

About The Role

Flexibility deserves recognition – and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on.

• Competitive salary:£50,669 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £57,000
• Weekly variety:You’ll work the on average 40 hours per week across the year, receiving your roster seven days in advance with your core working hours confirmed three days prior.
• Thrive outside of 9-5:Shifts will fall between 06:00 and 02:00, and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Where you’ll work

You’ll be part of the Harlow cluster, covering areas like Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Waltham Abbey, Epping, Hoddesdon.

We organise work locally so you can start and finish at home, focusing your day on getting members back on the road in your local area.

What you’ll need...

• Either: NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• and A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
