Your role as an EFL Teacher

Work with a professional academic team and award-nominated materials to deliver EF's academic program to groups of up to 17 language students. Plan lessons that foster an inspiring, safe, and supportive classroom environment, focusing on building students' confidence in using language. After summer teaching with EF, you'll have enhanced your teaching skills by working with a diverse team and academic management. Be adaptable and capable of solving various issues independently. Witness students grow in their language skills, make new friends, and create lasting summer memories. Watching diverse nationalities bond and their language skills flourish is rewarding for both experienced and novice teachers, which is why many return year after year.

Your responsibilities as an EFL Teacher
  • Deliver general English classes using EF methodology, with your own touch
  • Plan and teach classes, track attendance, and attend teacher meetings
  • Facilitate testing during the course, including scoring tests
  • Manage the classroom effectively
  • Participate in peer observation programs
  • Act as an ambassador for EF
  • Assist with other duties as requested by summer management
  • Lead an academic excursion once a week (usually Saturday or Sunday)

  • TEFL or CELTA (or equivalent) qualification*
