Job summary

Royal London's ten-week Summer Internship Programme invites penultimate and final-year students to explore technology, data and AI in a real business setting. You’ll gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects while supported by a People Leader and Buddy.

Locations include Edinburgh, Manchester and London with hybrid working options. The programme offers training, mentoring, and potential pathways into permanent roles or the 2027/8 graduate intake.

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final-year student in technology, engineering, data, or related degree.
• Interest in applying tech, data and AI to real business challenges.
• Comfort with using tools like Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau and Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience applying technology, data and AI to real business priorities.
• Contribute to meaningful work that impacts customers, members and communities.
• Work with coaches to own meaningful pieces of work and deliver results.
• Collaborate across teams to analyze information, solve problems and offer fresh perspectives.
• Develop professional skills and commercial awareness through the internship cohort project.
