We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join the operations team and lead the end-to-end delivery of our residential summer schools in Cambridge and Oxford. You’ll play a pivotal role in translating strategic priorities into on-the-ground excellence, while ensuring every student experience aligns with our premium brand.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong stakeholder management, cross-departmental collaboration, and commercial awareness. You'll work closely with the student services, sales and marketing teams to help align operational delivery with business goals - and act as a key brand ambassador to host colleges, suppliers, students, and parents alike. Whilst the primary focus will be on residential summer schools in Cambridge and Oxford, you will also be a key resource for the team delivering in other locations as part of a collaborative team strategy ensuring an aligned student experience.
Lead the operational planning and delivery of residential summer programmes, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Collaborate with the commercial team to shape programme positioning, providing feedback on messaging, customer needs, and market differentiation.
Initiate and manage relationships with external partners, including Oxford and Cambridge colleges (accommodation, catering and facilities), external venues (classrooms, lecture theatres, experiences) to support programme enrichment and commercial appeal.
Liaise with the marketing team to ensure communications and campaign materials accurately reflect programme delivery.
Respond to sales and parent enquiries to help convert leads and reinforce Immerse’s reputation for excellence.
Oversee all logistical components of the student journey: accommodation, activities, safeguarding, and transport – delivering high-value experiences with efficiency and consistency.
Be confident leading staff training and managing staff performance to ensure a well-prepared seasonal delivery team.
Support cross-site delivery during delivery periods and provide out-of-hours management (evenings and weekends) as required.
Oversee incident management and ensure we deliver exceptional standards of participant safeguarding, care and wellbeing.
2+ years of experience in education or operations, preferably in a summer school or residential programme setting.
Commercial acumen, with an understanding of how operational delivery supports customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong working knowledge of Google Suite; experience with CRM/marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
Expert knowledge of Cambridge and Oxford is advantageous.
Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently when needed.
