Join a vibrant and dynamic team as an Activity Leader at a leading summer school! This exciting role focuses on engaging students in a variety of activities, from sports and drama to arts and crafts, ensuring they have a memorable cultural and learning experience. You will play a crucial part in making sure students are happy and involved in all aspects of the program, whether in classes or during excursions. If you have a passion for working with young people and creating enjoyable experiences, this is the perfect opportunity to make a difference during the summer months.
Person Specification
The main role of an Activity Leader is to engage with the students and ensure that they, in turn, engage with all aspects of the programme – classes, activities, and excursions. This involves communicating, interacting, and generally being alongside the students to ensure they are happy, involved, and having fun. We aim to provide an excellent cultural and learning experience through effective and enjoyable courses conducted in a professional yet personalised environment.
It is preferable for applicants to have experience with sports, drama and dance, arts and crafts, and previous summer school experience. As the role involves taking groups of students on excursions and local visits, knowledge of the location for which you are applying would be an advantage.
There are two types of Activity Leader jobs available: ‘Non Residential’ and ‘Residential’ in our summer centres.
Please see Summer Centres 2024 for more information on our summer school locations.
