Job summary

incident.io is hiring a summer intern to contribute to real production systems from day one, working within one of our product teams. You will ship features end-to-end, gain production experience, and learn from senior engineers in a fast-paced AI-native environment.

You’ll use Go, TypeScript with React, and PostgreSQL, with deployment on Google Cloud using GKE and Cloud SQL, learning infrastructure tools like Terraform and monitoring with Grafana and Kibana.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, JavaScript, C#, Ruby on Rails.

Responsibilities

• Work on real production code alongside full-time engineers from day one.
• Own at least one meaningful project end-to-end: idea, build, ship, monitor usage.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and production access like other engineers.
• Contribute to ambitious AI-native features and learn from senior mentors.
