incident.io is seeking a high-potential placement student to join a product team for a 12-month placement starting in June 2027 and finishing in June 2028. You’ll work on real code, ship features, and gain production experience from week one alongside full-time engineers.

You’ll use Go, TypeScript with React, and Postgres, deployed on Google Cloud. The role includes ownership of at least one meaningful project, with mentorship and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails or JavaScript.

Responsabilités

• Work in a product team from day one, contributing to real code and shipping features end-to-end.
• Own at least one meaningful project from idea to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers during code reviews, deployments, and triage during incidents.
• Learn from senior engineers, receive mentorship, and grow as a software engineer in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with Go, TypeScript and React, and Postgres, on Google Cloud (GKE, Cloud SQL).
