We’re looking for an ambitious student to join our Energy Solutions team for a summer placement in our London office in 2027.
Whether you’re studying Engineering, Energy Systems, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Building Services or a related subject, you’ll join a business that gives you responsibility early, supports your development and provides opportunities to build your knowledge of renewable energy and the built environment.
At Hollis, you’ll learn through real projects and practical experience. You’ll work alongside specialists in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery storage and electric vehicle charging, contributing to work from initial feasibility through to installation, Project Management and ongoing maintenance.
You’re curious, motivated and eager to learn.
You enjoy solving problems, working with data and understanding how renewable technologies can improve the performance of buildings. You’re organised, adaptable and comfortable working with different people and priorities. Most importantly, you’re ready to embrace a new challenge, contribute to real projects and take ownership of your development.
We’re independent, multi-disciplinary real estate technical experts, Project Managers and Sustainability Consultants. We bring together specialists from across our business to help clients address complex challenges and unlock the potential of their buildings.
We’re ambitious, collaborative and people focused. Through our One Team culture, you’ll work with colleagues from different disciplines, develop valuable relationships and gain the experience you need to support your future career.
We're also proud of our track record in developing future talent. Today, 62 of our people started their careers with us as graduates, including 6 who have progressed to Director level. We currently have 50 graduates, 19 apprentices and 5 placement students across our programmes, creating a strong community of emerging talent and a proven pathway for progression.
How will you play your part in the future of real estate? What impact do you want to make? Your ambitions inspire us, and we’re ready to explore what’s possible together.
Together we welcome, we embrace, and we celebrate our differences. Our aim is to provide a diverse and inclusive workplace which supports and cares for all our employees, including those from underrepresented or non-dominant groups. We’re focused on a culture of inclusion; where all barriers including prejudice are removed from our working environment; and where all our people are empowered to be the best they can be.
Don’t meet every single requirement? If you would like the opportunity to join Hollis but your past experience is not an exact match, we encourage you to apply anyway as you could be the right candidate for this role or another role within the company.
