Job summary

Hollis invites a Health & Safety / CDM Consultant to join our growing team in Birmingham and London. This early-career role offers hands-on exposure across commercial property projects and mentorship from experienced professionals in a leading independent real estate consultancy.

You will support delivery of Health & Safety and CDM services, travel as needed, and develop your technical expertise while contributing to a diverse client base within the UK real estate sector.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of CDM-related experience (Principal Designer, Health & Safety, or CDM advisor)
• Knowledge of working on commercial construction projects and building services
• Knowledge of the CDM2015 Regulations and its delivery
• NEBOSH Construction certificate
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel

Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of health and safety service instructions on a variety of commercial properties (offices, residential, retail, industrial)
• Deliver H&S services to job manager level as Principal Designer, CDM Advisor and Advisor to the Principal Designer
• Undertake Construction Site Safety Inspections periodically
• Assist with service business development
• Adhere to and provide advice on general Health & Safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with contractors, designers and clients providing risk analysis of design plans

Based on our existing role profile, you'll support the delivery of Health & Safety and CDM services across commercial property projects, working alongside colleagues who are invested in helping you grow and succeed.

Whether you already have some experience in a CDM, Principal Designer or Health & Safety role, or you're looking to build on a strong foundation within the built environment, you'll find plenty of opportunity to develop your technical expertise while working on meaningful projects across the real estate sector.
