Job summary

Arup is offering a 6-week Summer Internship for Mechanical Building Services engineering in Leeds. You will join our Buildings teams and gain hands-on experience on real projects, supporting senior engineers and designers.

You'll be in your final or penultimate year of a MEng/BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering, and you should show motivation for building design, teamwork, and a willingness to learn 3D and thermal software as part of a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year in MEng or BEng in Mechanical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering.
• Demonstrate motivation and passion for a career in building design.
• Willingness to use 3D and thermal software; proactive in turning ideas into designs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of project teams to deliver effective services to clients during the internship.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics and Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers.
