Job summary

Butlin's is recruiting lifeguards for the summer season at our Splash Waterworld in Portsmouth. We offer contracts from 3–6 months with flexible hours to suit you, and you’ll be at the heart of a busy resort with family-friendly entertainment and poolside activities.

You’ll supervise slides and pools, ensuring safety while delivering memorable moments for guests. The role requires energy, teamwork, and a calm, proactive attitude under pressure.

Qualifications

• Be a strong, confident swimmer.
• Be 18 or over.
• Have excellent awareness and attention to detail.
• Be confident responding to emergency situations.
• Hold an NPLQ qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise slides, wave pool and poolside activities.
• Keep guests safe while ensuring fun and memorable experiences.
• Engage with guests and work effectively as part of a busy resort team.
