Qualifications

• Recognised EFL/ESL teaching qualification (CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, TEFL).
• Experience teaching or facilitating groups in an educational setting.
• Understanding of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching strategies.
• Knowledge of basic art techniques (e.g., drawing, painting, crafts, collage).
• Ability to adapt language for learners at different English proficiency levels.
• Strong classroom and group management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all language tuition is appropriate to a camp environment and in line with the ALPADIA curriculum.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of English and linguistic systems, modelling spoken and written English.
• Match lesson content to course objectives, learning needs, and students' backgrounds.
• Lead coherent sequences of activities and achievable learning outcomes.
• Differentiate to meet diverse learner needs and adapt syllabus as required.
• Utilise ALPADIA resources to support learning outcomes and maximise learning.
