Job summary

G-Research in London invites ambitious maths and programming students to a 10-week Summer Research Programme. You will work on a meaningful research project that applies mathematical and computational analysis to financial time-series.

Under the mentorship of a Quantitative Researcher, you will use techniques from modelling, deep learning and optimisation, and present your findings to senior management at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical background required.
• Programming experience in Python or C# preferred.
• Interest in applying data science, ML and optimisation to real problems.
• Active GitHub or Kaggle profiles desirable but not essential.
• Finance interest and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work on a meaningful 10-week research project applying mathematical and computational analysis to financial time-series.
• Collaborate closely with a Quantitative Researcher mentor and receive structured feedback.
• Use techniques in mathematical modelling, deep learning, optimisation and ML.
• Present final research ideas and results to senior management at internship end.
