Job summary

Jacobs is offering a Summer Internship Programme to gain real-world experience in Civil Engineering or Logistics across hub locations in the UK or Ireland. For eight weeks in the summer, you will work with world-class professionals and apply classroom skills to real business challenges.

You will receive personalised guidance from mentors and leaders, connect with interns across disciplines, and build your professional network.

Qualifications

• On track to complete a Degree or Masters in Civil Engineering or Equivalent in Logistics in 2028.
• Penultimate year student finishing degree in 2028.
• Must have full right to work in the UK.
• Available to join the 8-week programme starting 28 June 2027 – 20 August 2027.
• Flexible self-starter passionate about developing new skills.
• Enthusiasm to apply skills to real-world problems.
• Empathy and listening to understand client requirements.
• Experience in leadership or volunteering is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Advisory during outline design and consent phases.
• Assist in creating construction strategy, phasing, methodology and programme.
• Collaborate with industry experts on major programmes.
• Contribute to a positive learning experience for interns.
