Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Work on Digital Signal Processing algorithms and Advanced Communications Standards.
  • Digital logic design, RTL coding and verification.
  • High-level programming and scripting (Python, Java, C) or HDL (Verilog).
  • Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado and SDK as well as 3rd party logic simulator.
  • Familiarity with RTL Development VHDL or Verilog and simulation-based testing.

JOB DETAILS:
  • Location: Edinburgh, UK
  • Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time either in a hybrid or onsite throughout the duration of the intern term.
  • Start date: June 1 2027
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

You are currently enrolled in a UK based University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field

  • Experience/Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing Algorithms and Advanced Communications Standards.
  • Digital logic design, RTL coding and verification.
  • High-level language programming and scripting (Python, Java, C, etc. ) or HDL (Verilog)
  • Familiarity with Xilinx Vivadoand SDK as well as 3rd party logic simulator
  • Familiarity with RTL (Register Transfer Level) Development VHDL or Verilog
  • Familiarity with digital circuit design and testing using simulation tools
  • Familiarity with AMD-Xilinx FPGAs and system design tools
