A local mental health charity in Swindon is seeking a compassionate individual for the role of Suicide Bereavement Practitioner. You'll provide essential support to those affected by suicide through one-to-one and group sessions. This role involves connecting with various organizations to ensure comprehensive community support. The position offers a salary of £27,000 FTE, flexible hours, and a supportive team culture.
We're looking for a compassionate and resilient individual to join Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind as a Suicide Bereavement Practitioner. In this unique role, you'll provide vital support to people, families, and communities affected by suicide-helping them find strength, hope, and connection during the most difficult of times. You'll be the steady presence that helps someone take their next step, whether through one-to-one support, group sessions, or practical guidance around inquests, funeral arrangements, or workplace communication.
Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you'll also connect with coroners, NHS partners, schools, police, and local authorities to ensure those impacted by suicide are never left to manage alone.
