We are seeking an experienced SuDS Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of nature-based SuDS solutions, from initial optioneering to construction, across various settings in the Anglian Water region.

What will you be doing as our new SuDS Engineer?

Contributing to Anglian Water's ambition to increase nature-based SuDS delivery and adapt to industry challenges. You will work on projects from feasibility to construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design excellence in identifying and scoping catchment-based SuDS opportunities.
• Collaborate with modelling teams and interpret data for SuDS solutions.
• Develop hydraulic designs using software like MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, or InfoDrainage.
• Work with BIM teams to produce technical sketches and specifications.
• Develop standards based on design experience and national guidelines.
• Manage surface water projects, conduct site surveys, and ensure standards are met.
• Research and implement innovative SuDS solutions to improve outcomes.

Skills, Experience, and Behaviours:

Degree in Environmental Design/Engineering or related field, with knowledge of hydraulic design principles and experience in developing SuDS solutions. Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement, familiarity with CDM regulations, and enthusiasm for environmental sustainability are essential.
