Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a permanent, part-time Success Coach for a Northampton college, starting August. You will deliver coaching, personal development sessions, monitor attendance and progress, and work with safeguarding and student services to remove barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring, coaching or providing pastoral support to learners.

The college is looking to appoint a permanent, part‑time Success Coach to join their Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team from August. The successful Success Coach will provide one-to-one and group coaching, deliver engaging personal development sessions, monitor attendance and progress, and work closely with curriculum, safeguarding and student services teams to remove barriers to learning and support positive student outcomes.

The successful Success Coach will have:

• Experience supporting young people within an education, training or pastoral setting
• Excellent coaching, mentoring and communication skills
• Experience monitoring student progress, attendance or engagement
• Knowledge of safeguarding, PREVENT and student wellbeing practices
• The ability to deliver engaging classroom-based personal development sessions
• A proactive, organised and compassionate approach to supporting learners
