The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking Experienced and Senior Subsystems Manufacturing Engineers located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Overview: We are looking for Experienced and Senior Subsystems Manufacturing Engineers with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness, and delivery center flyaway operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient production of our aerospace products, including platforms for Air Proprietary programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems.
  • Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely product delivery.
  • Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.

  • Air Proprietary Programs: Engage in innovative projects that enhance defense capabilities and national security.
  • F-15EX: The latest variant of the F-15 with advanced avionics and weapon systems.
  • T-7A Red Hawk: A next-generation trainer aircraft for modern pilot training.
  • MQ-25 Stingray: The first unmanned aerial refueler for the U.S. Navy.

Work Location & Security: This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations. US Citizenship is required to obtain a US Security Clearance, including an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance is also required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Level 3: 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's, or 3+ years with a Master's, or PhD work-related experience.
  • Level 4: 9+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's, or 7+ years with a Master's, or 4+ years with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience supporting defense or aerospace customers.
  • Experience with 3D model-based instruction and tools such as IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, and others listed.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MESci).

Additional Details: The position offers relocation based on eligibility. It requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship. The role is for 1st shift. Salary ranges are provided, and applications are accepted until May 31, 2025.
