Job summary

Coventry Public Schools of RI seeks a substitute per diem bus (van) driver to transport Coventry school students on designated routes. Qualifications

• 21 years old, active driver’s license for 3 years, clean driving record for 3 years
• Medical Certification card (Renewed Annually or if 65 and older every 6 months)
• BCI
• Chauffeur's license
• Take and pass the Pupil Transportation Vehicle Test written test
• Meets all other DOT Licensing Requirements to transport students
• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a van on designated routes transporting Coventry School Students to and from home to school.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections daily.
• Fuel and maintain cleanliness of the inside of the vehicle.
• Attend and participate in safety meetings as needed.
