Job Title: Substitute Cover Teacher
Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire
Salary: £94 - £140 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025/ Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education are partnering with a vibrant secondary school in Waterlooville to find a Substitute Cover Teacher who can bring energy, adaptability, and a love of learning into the classroom. What You’ll Be Doing as a Substitute Cover Teacher:

• Bring Lessons to Life: Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Lead with Confidence: Maintain a calm, focused, and respectful classroom environment.
• Support Student Success: Keep learners on track and motivated throughout the day.
• Be the Bridge: Ensure continuity in learning and communicate effectively with school staff.
• Leave a Mark: Provide feedback and insights that help students grow.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• A confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and adaptability—you’re ready for anything the day brings
• A genuine passion for education and student wellbeing
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
