Job summary

Qualifications
- Previous experience with consultancy, contractor, or utility in the energy sector.
- Experience designing HV infrastructure at concept, FEED and detailed design stages.
- Working knowledge of National Grid standards and specifications.
- Experience with design & site construction review.
- Knowledge and understanding of secondary system design is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead substation technical discussions with clients and teams.
- Ensure quality checking of deliverables prior to client issue.
- Build client relationships and drive safety in design.
- Mentor junior staff to build team capability.
Skills
Experience with consultancy, contractor, or utility in the energy sector
Designing HV infrastructure at concept and FEED stages
Understanding of electrical AC HV Plant infrastructure
Proposal/Bid development experience
Control systems and HVDC systems knowledge
Education
CDAE / LCDAE approval (ideally)
