Job summary

Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced EUSR Persons Ganger to start Monday at the Isle of Grain, Kent. The role involves leading a small crew on substation projects and ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently.

Candidates must hold a valid EUSR Persons qualification and a valid CSCS card, with prior Ganger experience and a good understanding of site health and safety. National Grid/substation exposure would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Valid EUSR Persons qualification.
Valid CSCS Card.
Previous experience working as a Ganger on substation projects.
Good understanding of site health & safety.
Ability to lead and coordinate a team of operatives.
Previous experience working within National Grid/substation environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Leading and coordinating operatives carrying out works within the substation.
Allocating daily tasks and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
Ensuring all site rules, RAMS and safe systems of work are followed.
Liaising with Site Supervisors and management regarding progress.
Monitoring workmanship and maintaining high standards on site.
Ensuring the team works safely within the requirements of the substation environment.
Maintaining good housekeeping and site standards throughout the works.
