Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is recruiting for National Grid substations in the UK. You will carry out trade-specific works on substation sites and uphold safety and quality standards on site.

Ideal applicants have prior substation experience, a solid understanding of site safety, and hold a valid EUSR National Grid Person (Sub Station) qualification plus CSCS or CPCS. Full right to work in the UK is required.

• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out works associated with your trade specialism on National Grid substation projects.
• Work safely in accordance with National Grid and Laing O'Rourke procedures.
• Support project delivery whilst maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Attend site briefings, toolbox talks and training as required.
