Substation Fitter Instructor Role (Full Training Provided)

Location: Manchester (Trafford Park)

Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 + Pension + Provided Lunches + Training + Progression + Holiday

Do you have experience as a substation fitter or in high voltage electricity distribution/transmission?

Are you looking for a career change that will enable you to gain qualifications, learn new skills, come off the tools, and make a real difference to people's lives?

This organization is going through an exciting period of growth. They have recently invested a significant amount of money into its facilities and equipment, such as mock power generation/distribution stations. Their ambitions are to be the leading training provider for the energy and engineering industry by investing heavily in new technology and innovation.

Main Duties:

1. Carry out training on electricity distribution and transmission systems.
2. Assess learner's competency in work activity against a national qualification standard.
3. Deliver training on Fitting Modules and support delivery of technical certificates in power engineering.
4. Deliver compliance training related to distribution work activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Either already delivering training or assessing in substation fitting, or a substation fitter looking to transition into a trainer role.
2. Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the electricity distribution/transmission or commercial sector.
3. Strong fitting or jointing background.

Role Details:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM
Trainer position (Full training will be provided)
Training people on all aspects regarding substation fitting.
