Job summary

Omexom is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage the on-site electrical construction, maintenance and removal activities for substation plant and equipment. You will ensure works align with drawings, RAMS, and project specifications while maintaining safety and quality across the team.

You will lead daily programmes, toolbox talks, and site meetings, mentor apprentices, and liaise with safety and design teams to resolve issues and deliver work to schedule in a compliant manner.

Qualifications

• 4 years’ experience on DNO substation sites operating from 11–400kV
• SSSTS certification is required
• CSCS card is required
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents
• Competence with Omexom systems and RAMS procedures

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day work programme for nominated site staff
• Deliver safety briefings and toolbox talks
• Supervise construction, maintenance, fitting and wiring of substation plant
• Ensure materials and deliveries meet RAMS and planning requirements
• Chair site progress meetings with clients and maintain project documentation
• Lead by example on safety and quality, report accidents and hazards
• Mentor apprentices and support ongoing personal development
• Ensure compliance with Omexom HSE standards and procedures
