Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide individual counseling and clinical support within outpatient settings. The role involves assessing treatment needs, coordinating care, and counseling diverse patient populations.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree and licensure in addiction counseling where possible. The position offers a consistent schedule and opportunities for advancement within the counselor levels.

Qualifications

• General experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
• Lived addiction experience is a plus.
• No legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual counseling to highly complex patients
• Conducts clinical assessments to appropriately assess patient’s treatment needs
• Designs and updates the patient’s treatment plan, including care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
• Manages assigned caseload and compliance with clinical treatment requirements
• Collaborates with nurses and providers to provide holistic treatment services
• Facilitates urine drug screening for patients
