Apricus Resourcing Ltd in Yarnton, Oxford, is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker on days. This is a temporary-to-permanent role, full-time (37.5 hours weekly, 8am-8pm). Part-time possible if not filled.
You will support service users from initial triage through care plan development, harm-reduction advice, signposting to further services, and arranging first clinical or psychological interventions with ongoing support.
Apricus Resourcing are working with a leading charity based in Yarnton, Oxford who are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker working on days. This role will be based on a temporary to permanent basis but may result in more permanent work.
These roles are working full time ideally standard hours of 37.5 hours per week working 8am-8pm, however there is possibility to work part time if not filled full time, any on shift expenses will be compensated.
In this role you will support service users all the way from Initial triage and assessment, to then latterly formulate the immediate care plan & harm reduction advice. You will also be required to sign post out to additional appropriate support services, then arranging the first clinical or psychological interventions appointment along with ongoing support in a secure setting.
In order to be considered for this particular role you will need to have experience of working with drug/alcohol abuse, experience of using interventions to facilitate change, experience of working and creating care plans, group work & experience of working closely with families and supporting their needs.
In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive rate of pay of between £19.03-£21.03 per hour via umbrella.
