Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking a compassionate Drug & Alcohol Wellbeing Worker in Hertfordshire to support individuals affected by substance misuse, mental health or complex needs. You will use your knowledge of treatment pathways, harm reduction, risk management and safeguarding to provide non-judgemental support.

Although direct recovery experience is not essential, transferable skills and the ability to signpost to appropriate services are valued.

Qualifications

• Understanding of drug and alcohol misuse and available treatment pathways.
• Awareness of harm reduction and relapse prevention approaches.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessments and risk management.
• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting positive wellbeing.
• Ability to provide non-judgemental support and signpost individuals to appropriate services.
