We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join the team at HMP Winchester, a Category B male prison just outside of the city centre. HMP Winchester has free onsite parking as well as excellent transport links - there is a bus stop opposite the site and the train station is a 10 minute walk. Join the Recovery Team and empower those who wish to make changes in their behaviour to promote health and well-being through recovery from drugs and alcohol.
This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. HMP Winchester is a remand prison with a capacity of around 650.
Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary of £26,586 - £30,684 dependent on experience.
