Job description

Service Care Solutions is supporting a reputable non-profit provider, currently recruiting for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker. As a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, you will support individuals suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. The ideal candidate should have experience in the field, be highly driven, and able to identify and develop potential within service users.

Hours: 5 days per week, 37.5 hours

Pay Rates:

• Up to £18.14 PAYE per hour (excluding holiday pay)
• £20.33 PAYE per hour (including holiday pay)
• £23 Umbrella rate per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete assessments for service users
• Support individuals from point of entry
• Provide screening, assessment, and recovery plans
• Deliver one-to-one interventions

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in the substance misuse field
• Awareness of health issues related to substance misuse
• Experience with key working and care planning
