Job description

We are currently seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for our client in Bournemouth on a 3-month contract, starting ASAP.

The rate of pay will be negotiated between £20-£21 per hour. This is a Full-Time Contract, Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00.

Responsibilities of the Recovery Worker

1. Supporting service users from entry into the service through their treatment and recovery journey;
2. Providing screening, assessment, recovery planning, and onward referral;
3. Reducing alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community;
4. Promoting involvement of carers, service users, and the community;
5. Providing advocacy for access to partnership services;
6. Supporting social reintegration of service users to enable them to lead meaningful lives, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.

An Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS check will be required for this position.
