As our Substance Misuse Nurse based in Bournemouth, you will provide health and wellbeing, harm reduction interventions, and deliver high standards of nursing care to substance misusers. Responsibilities include assessing care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programs.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £26,880 - £36,225 per annum. Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with some evening work.

You will advocate for clients, working closely with them to identify their support needs across physical, psychological, spiritual, and social domains. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in various settings, promoting health and wellbeing, and working as part of multidisciplinary teams.
Additional duties may include hospital liaison, administering vaccinations and medications, health screenings such as phlebotomy, BBV screening, vital signs monitoring, withdrawal scales, and treatment compliance assessments during detoxification.
