As a Substance Misuse Nurse, you will provide high-quality clinical assessment and treatment to individuals facing substance misuse issues. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure nursing care of a high standard, in line with the NMC code of conduct.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans
2. Maintaining accurate patient records
3. Participating in effective assessment of care needs and providing a high standard of care
4. Carrying out risk assessments
5. Leading and facilitating decision-making

Requirements:

1. Current and valid registration with the NMC
2. A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience
3. Knowledge of health issues related to substance misuse
4. Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast-tracked through our recruitment process today.
5. Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if not currently held
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Knowledge of safe storage and administration of medication
