Archer Resourcing has an opening for an experienced Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team in Wakefield. This is a full-time temporary contract.

Role Responsibilities:

*Including but not limited to

• Supporting opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and promoting the uptake of naloxone.
• Providing support to the team with Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations.
• Collaborating closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services.
• Creating a collaborative approach that links our client to outside professionals and agencies.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Substance Misuse Nurse.
• Prison Clearance.
• NMC registration.
• Relevant degree.
• Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months (on the update service) - potential for fast-tracking through our recruitment process.
• Full driving license and access to own vehicle (advantageous).
